Mimosa partners WEDO In celebrating International Women’s Day in Zvishavane

It’s Exciting to note that Women Entrepreneurship Day Organization has set a base in the mining town as it prepares to celebrate the International Women’s Day on the 17th of March 2023. The day will be celebrated under the theme ‘Digital innovation and technology for gender equality. Zvishavane, (formerly Shabani) is one of the 8 districts in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe. Surrounded by low hills, it lies on the west of Masvingo on the main road of Bulawayo along the mineral rich in Great Dyke which stretches from north Eastern side of the Country, crossing the Southern parts of the Country. The Town is endowed with minerals such as the asbestos, platinum, gold, chromite iron ore, emeralds and diamonds. Mimosa Platinum Mine is an underground platinum group Metals located on the Great Dyke in Zimbabwe. Head Corporate Corporate Affairs Ms Elizabeth Nerwande who is going to be among the Guest Speakers highlighted that she was thrilled that the event will be happening in Zvishavane. Women from all walks of life will converge in the mining town to commemorate the International Womens Day’, I would like to pay tribute to Mimosa Mine for making it possible to celebrate women in the Midlands Town.

Like every human organ, Hatfield Elite Academy went through growing pains. After three years of steady growing pains, the school held its first Patron and Parents’ Speech and Prize Giving Day. Patron and Parents Day brings together parents, students, and staff to celebrate the achievements of the year and honor students and staff who have distinguished themselves. This year was special because it was the first time all interested parties had been able to come together.
