Ali & Co Promotes local designers at Show

Ali and Co will be showcasing their products at the Masvingo Agricultural Show, set for 29 September to 2 October. 

The company has been supporting Masvingo’s clothing and textile sector for some time with a goal to modernize the local fashion and tailoring business in the city.

It has also been promoting its clients and communities through bringing together independent sewists.

The Director of Ali and Co, Mr Zubair Lambat said visitors to the show will have a chance to meet sewing,  make-up, baking, decor and hairdressing specialists who will be exhibiting their products at the show. 

Aspiring young designers and college students will have a chance to learn from these exhibitors who will display and market their products. 

Mr Lambat said that their main goal is to promote the talented people of Masvingo, so that they may be recognized both locally and internationally. 

“I discovered that there is a lot of talent in Masvingo which is not being exposed, and therefore we want to help expose these hidden talents so that the local designers can get support,” he said.

One of the top designers in Masvingo who is working in partnership with Ali and Co is Tendai Tichaurawa of Lesley Designs. She said they wanted their work to be recognized globally so that they will secure international support. 

Lesley Designs, an organization which manufactures various clothing designs, has managed to design beautiful outfits for top government leaders in Zimbabwe and some of the top executives in Zimbabwe.

Like every human organ, Hatfield Elite Academy went through growing pains. After three years of steady growing pains, the school held its first Patron and Parents’ Speech and Prize Giving Day.
