Former students transforms Mukundi school

Former Mukundi students transforms the school A group of former students took upon themselves to develop Mukundi Primary in Nerupiri , Gutu . In 2019.,Former members of Mukundi school, Jacob Masunda , Obert Chiramba ( late) , Christina Ndawi , Edwin Murwira & Mrs Zivanai ( school head ) formed the diaspora group. More members later joined and have contributed towards this cause.. ( installation of the electric and solar). These are Mrs Juliet Zivanai ( School Head) Jacob Masunda ( Coordinator) Michael Mashingaidze ( Vice Coordinator) Christina Ndawi ( Treasurer) Edwin Murwira (Secretary) Dewira ( installation) Lonely Mutema Gift Zenda Zvidzai Mapingire Benias Mapingire Fiona Mudzamba Lovemore Mudzamba Amon Mauto Happiness Mudzamba The purpose of this group was to mobilize funds for the purchase and installation of solar system and purchase computers . The pictures and videos attached depict and tell a better story about what has transpired from the delivery of the panels and inveter to the joy this project has brought to the the community children .. some whom had never seen a computer This is good example of excellent partnership working between parents and former members of the school . One thing to note is that is the majority of the diaspora group do not have children at Mukundi .. therefore this generous donation will continue to benefit the community and the school for future generations.

Like every human organ, Hatfield Elite Academy went through growing pains. After three years of steady growing pains, the school held its first Patron and Parents’ Speech and Prize Giving Day. Patron and Parents Day brings together parents, students, and staff to celebrate the achievements of the year and honor students and staff who have distinguished themselves. This year was special because it was the first time all interested parties had been able to come together. Founded by ambitious school teachers, Blessing and his wife, Dr. Gallie Kawanzaruwa, and chaired by a young and ambitious 42-year-old dreamer, Mr. Thomas Chidavaenzi with experience in financial management, the school immediately suffered from the onslaught of Corona-19 virus.
